Signature Nursing Services is a professional caregiving and nursing service provider based in Barbados, specialising in compassionate, reliable care for the elderly and individuals requiring personal or medical assistance.
Our mission is to support clients and their families by delivering high-quality, respectful, and dependable care in the comfort of their own homes or care settings.
Core Services Offered
Signature Nursing Services provides around-the-clock care, ensuring clients receive support whenever it is needed.
Our 24-hour service is divided into two structured shifts:
* Day Shift:
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
* Night Shift:
8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
* Services are available Sunday through Saturday
* No seasonal closures — services operate all year round
Environment
Care is typically provided in:
* Private homes
* Residential settings
* Other approved care environments where the client resides
The goal is to allow clients to remain in familiar surroundings while receiving professional care.
Categories of professional support
Caregivers:
Caregivers provide non-medical, personal, and daily living assistance, including but not limited to:
* Companionship and supervision
* Assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
* Meal preparation and feeding assistance
* Light housekeeping related to client care
* Mobility assistance and fall prevention
* Support with daily routines and personal comfort
Certified nurses provide medical and clinical care, which may include:
* Monitoring vital signs
* Medication administration and reminders
* Wound care and dressing changes
* Post-hospital or post-surgical care
* Chronic illness management support
* General nursing assessments and observations
