Mr. Charles W. Pile, BA in Business Administration; BA in Economics
Mr. Pile is an Information and communications Technology specialist. He has B.A. degrees in both Business Administration and Economics with over two decades experience management systems programming and operations. He has worked in several capacities in the United Nations System, including inter alia, in United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as Senior Finance systems administrator where among other achievements coordinate successfully UNDP logistics for the First International Conference on the Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States held in Barbados in 1994 and the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) in which he played an important role in managing the mission finance as well as providing logistics support. He has served as a senior United Nations officer in a number of countries including, inter alia, Barbados, former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, Tuzla Bosnia, Zagreb Croatia, Kennin, Krianna. Mr. Pile has extensive ICT and programme development experience having been VP Information Technology for a regional Financial Group almost a decade.
In the area of digital communication application, Mr. Pile has excelled. To facilitate the advancement of digital communication applications, Mr. Pile established the media company CPNet-FilmStream (Barbados) which is registered in the jurisdiction of Barbados, of which he is the Principle. Mr. Pile is an experience negotiator and negotiates Regional and Global Content distribution rights on behalf of the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC), Collywood Productions of United Kingdom, and Lanier productions of USA. CPNet-FilmStream has captured and produced media content for many events including, inter alia, Pan American Junior cycling championships from Mexico in 2010, the Commonwealth Games from India 2010, CAC games Puerto Rico 2010, Olympic torch run Barbados, CCC Road Championships Barbados. CPNet- FilmStream was one of the media firms assigned a segment of coverage for the recently concluded 50th Anniversary Human Chain exercise in Barbados and has the annual contract to cover the Cystic fibrosis 10 K, and are scheduled to cover monthly cycling competitions in Barbados.
CPNet-FilmStream has a series on Green Lifestyles comprising 14 episodes, and are currently completing a docudrama shot over the past 9 months on location in Uganda. FilmStream also supports the development of the local film industry by providing a platform for the international distribution of electronic media. The skill set includes the creation of industrial safety applications, Personal catastrophe Aftermath status reporting, Regional Marine environment safety operations Environmental application, and a Waste Management reporting tool in support of a regional trash cleanup campaign. The company also promotes and is competent in Alternative energy solutions. As an example, the company’s office is run on solar power. The company also run a full recycling programme and therefore understands the components of the green lifecycle.

Mr. Pile is one of the founding members of the Caribbean Consultancy Network, a group of Caribbean Based Experts in a wide range of professional fields who cooperate professionally to expand their individual capacities by using a Resource leveling model which, simply put, engages the required expertise from within the Network Just-in-Time (JIT) to satisfy the client requirements
